When Crosby was added to the NHL Injuries List last week, he was hoping to get back within a couple of days. However, he missed that Friday night’s game, was unable to attend the All-Star Competitions, and up until the twenty-fifth hour, his condition remained questionable. Different sources reported differently about whether or not he would play in Wednesday’s game.

After some uncertainty, Crosby in fact returned. With the Penguins in second-last in their conference (tenth in their division), Crosby’s return is important. Hopefully, the league’s second-top scorer can continue to add to the team’s firepower and bring some decent victories as they head into Playofs.
