We have had our blue and gold macaw for over fifteen years.  We inherited him from my husbands brother when he could no longer care for him.  At the time we got him we couldn’t afford a new cage for him.  All these years have spend by and he is still in the same cage.  It is time to start looking for large parrot cages that have many accessories.  He requires lots of toys in order to keep him happy.  I haven’t looked at cages for years and am very pleased with the features these newer cages have.  The feeding dishes are so easy to remove and they are much easier to clean than the cage we have used all these years.  This is something we need to invest in right away.
